Excellent choice! I recently bought the same exact truck (except for the color, mine is Granite Crystal Metallic), and I love it! Now you need to get the Alliance 44V14--I just took delivery of a new 2024 unit last Friday and the Ram has no problem towing it around.

Glad to see you making this decision to be “safe” on the road. I had an F250, bought a slide in truck camper and realized it was too heavy for my payload capacity. So, after six months of owning that truck I traded it in on an F350 with a lower trim level so I had plenty of payload. Kudo’s to you for doing the right thing!

Wow - it’s a beauty. You’ll love it. Keep your RV down under that 35’ length and you’ll enjoy a lot more sites and avoid the frame issues that are plaguing the 40+’ models. But, you already know all that! 😉

Congratulations on the new truck!!!! I've heard the saying, "better to have more truck then you need then need more truck then you have!" I'm always planning for the future, we started with a 1/2 ton and a travel trailer, upgraded to a 3/4 ton for a couple years, then a 1 ton dually. Then we upgraded from the travel trailer to a 5th wheel. Now still planning for the future, for when we're ready to leave the sticks and bricks and full time in an rv, upgrading to a newer 5th wheel from Spacecraft (fully custom built manufacturing) and an HDT to tow it!!

Congratulations on your new rig. I'm not a RV person at all. In fact I loath the idea of traveling in one. However, I enjoy your channel and happy for both of you. One thing that stands out is your ability to adapt to any kind of situation that pops up. Thank you both for sharing your adventures.
