alternate title: Overthinking everything in geometry dash possible!

Edit: So this video is absolutely blowing up, which is ironic since this video didn’t perform too well initially and I even considered taking it down or unlisting it. I am very grateful for the attention this is getting and the attention it has brought to my channel. This is definitely not my best video anymore (in fact, it is probably far from it) so I highly recommend you to check out my newer content if you like commentary videos like this. I improved my voice and editing since this video. Thanks for watching! It’s so nice seeing at least one of my videos get so many likes and views. :) Original Comment: I apologize for the lack of visual proof to back up some claims I made. This is because since I have already done everything, I do not have access to them anymore. Hopefully this isn't too big of an issue, and if you really want more evidence, you can look yourself or check out some other videos. Anyway, thanks for watching! Subscribe for weekly Geometry Dash commentary videos — have a good day. :)

i used to think the message “the darkness lingers, be careful who you trust” was literally a message about the coming soon level
  • @eeryminotaur960
“The Treasure Room” has 248 chests, its 2 off, scratch probably stole 2
  • @Noobboy27
It not only says "the darkness lingers be careful who you trust" in geometry dash subzero the "i" says "roses are red violets are blue Omae Wa Mou Shindeiru" and in geometry dash world it says nothing :( but in geometry dash lite it says the same thing as full version "the darkness lingers be careful who you trust" Edit: who am I

Theory: The player is the true antagonist. Opposed to the fandom's belief that the Demon Guardian is the antagonist, I believe this to be false, with one seemingly tiny point: demon levels. The entire point is for you to beat them, right? So just because they're locked down there doesn't mean they don't know damn well what you did. They probably only wants to destroy Geometry Dash for two practical reasons: 1) To destroy it, then bring it back so that everything is back to normal 2) To destroy YOU. In Geometry Dash, YOU are the one with the most power. Not the Demon Guardian, not any of the Vault Keepers, not any fanmade character, not even RubRub himself. They understand that there is nothing in-game that they can do, so they're planning on destroying it. In conclusion, their plan was never meant to be evil. It was meant to save everyone. Though, everyone's afraid of them because if Geometry Dash is destroyed, then so will they all. In reality, it all comes down to what someone's real intentions are. Some people do the wrong things for the right reasons, but that doesn't make them a bad person. That means that their intentions are for the greater good. (Wait a second, this is the SECOND game to have a character who knows about Your Reality and has green eyes.) So the Demon Guardian isn't the villain, they're an anti-hero at the least. (The difference is that an anti-hero does the wrong things for the right reasons, while a villain does the wrong things for the wrong reasons.)

3:07 the gatekeeper in the chamber of time says how he cannot see in the darkness, but he can see the master emblem

2.2 is probably taking long because it’s gonna be adding a big story line new long levels

About the rubrub thing i always thought that it was just robtop lol
  • My theory about GD : Scratch was created from an error in the code RubRub made. RubRub possesed a jewel a perfect.. one. Scratch planned on making a shop secretly and decided to steal the jewel so out of sneakiness he stole it from Robtop. Now RubRub is on the hunt to find the thief. However, Robtop does not know that Scratch made a shop. This room is secretive. RubRub deleted the error coding but since Scrach posessed the jewel, the code THOUGHT it was in RubRub's hands so if Robtop deleted the code, he would 'break' the game. Robtop still looks for Scratch and where he hides. In the game, the blue jewel (atleast what i call it) has more than just unlocking the 'Chamber of Time'. It was only meant for one person who is RubRub. (What i think of its purpose) This jewel was made from the beginning to the end of the realms in GD. Robtop, along with the 3 main vault keepers AND the "Demon Guardian" (when he wasn't like he is now) created this jewel by the power of the demension. Over time, Robtop made the main levels with this power and eventually made the difficulties. But.... There was a issue. The darkness lingered in the code and it messed with the jewel creating a new difficulty. Something beyond... Code. Something unatural*. Demon difficulty. The Darkness shone upon the world and created monsters, demons keys, demon chests, and such. However, this was all created from the malice and darkness in the Demon Guardian. He managed to 'consume' a sample of the jewels power. This created darkness that summoned upon the world of GD. However, the Guardian became greedy. As Robtop finished the world of GD, the guardian tried to *kill and destroy Robtop and take the jewel for himself. Robtop and the vaultkeepers sealed him away in a dungeon beneath the vault of secrets. The demon grew angry over time. He gained malice and hatred the second. The darkness fully consumed him. Turning him into a.. Monster. The player meets him, not knowing anything and unlocks the prison, letting out chaos upon the world again. (Also, RubRub lied to the demon about a lifetime supply of chicken in the prison). Now the player acsends into 2.2, getting one step closer to sealing the darkness's fate. Dats it. :P
  • I never saw a video about this topic, but it is pretty interesting ngl

Do we know for sure the purple key unlocks the demon gauntlet? Everyone assumes the purple key unlocks the demon gauntlet. But it is possible just freeing the monster in general gives you the demon gauntlet, and the key is for 2.2 stuff. The only way to know for sure would be to free the monster, try to get in the demon gauntlet, then open the chest with the key and go for the demon gauntlet again, and as far as I know no one has ever done that on video.
