My Giant Frog Escaped, so I Made Him a Mansion (African Bullfrog Paludarium)

It was disturbing the first time, but even more so this time. I thought I forgot to put them on at first until I saw how the lid was mangled. Needless to say, I didn't bother to film it because I was more concerned to get him back in the tank.
The next day, I got to work completing this new paludarium. I'm really pleased with how it turned out, and I love the new concrete technique. I'll definitely be using it again!

Couldn't believe my eyes when I saw him out of the tank again, but I knew what had to be done. The next day I got to work finishing this build. It’s great how you not only consider your convenience but the welfare and enrichment of the animal. Most people don’t consider the long lives of most amphibians and reptiles when they buy one. Thanks for encouraging healthy caretaking in this community

I love how animal focused these are. It’s not hard to make something that looks pretty, but to make it look good while meeting an animal’s needs and thinking of their potential desires and lifespan etc. That’s what makes these magic.

Many years ago as a child, I encountered an African Bullfrog (I'm from South Africa) I was warned that it could bite my fingers off, then dared to catch it. Fearfully I caught it and didn't get bit. I'm sure they don't have finger snacks, but can imagine they have a painful bite. You were bit twice. Haha Very nice setup you have for Samson, so many featuers I want to watch him interact with. Well done.
