Getting Sam Witwer into acting for Star Wars was this series' greatest victory. And Vader being a bit of a theatrical drama-queen is 100% on brand for the Force wielder formerly known as Anakin Skywalker.

Is this a record for the shortest gap in-between episodes because it feels like it

I love how Vader goes to Kamino on his TIE fighter, instead of his usual shuttle. This really shows how secret the cloning experiments are.
  • The Force Unleashed 2 was one of the first games I ever got on Xbox, this brings back memories. I love how they integrated a horror element later into the game that is pretty unique for Star Wars

"I shudder to think about how he'd hold three [lightsabers] if this series got a third game" Double bladed saber in one hand, short bladed saber in the other. Imagine how cool that would be.

If they remade force unleashed, but combines both games into one long thought out story, it would be godly
  • 5:19 the similarity between Ahsoka and Galen's lightsaber stances is not a coincidence when you consider they both had the same master. Anakin may not have trained Ahsoka before she became his apprentice but Jedi tend to become highly proficient in the stance that their master prefers - Anakin preferred Form V (as did many Jedi during the Clone Wars) and so Ahsoka, regardless of what she was previously taught, would have learned Form V the most from him. When Anakin became Vader, he used all 7 Forms relatively equally in his own personal style (with the only real exception being Form IV I think), which he had to master because of how his cybernetics had changed him. He was no longer agile, so he became a wall. But he would still have taught Galen everything about lightsaber combat and Galen, either by coincidence or via picking up on subtle cues from Vader during Form V demonstrations, chose Form V has his preference too. The reverse grip is something that can be used with the more complex Forms (I've never heard of a master of Form I, II or III utilizing a reverse grip), while all 7 Forms can be utilized with a single lightsaber, dual lightsabers, a saberstaff (aka double-bladed lightsaber, like Maul), saber club/shoto (oversized and undersized variants of any lightsaber, designed for larger or smaller beings).

I would still love to have a third game that branched off of whatever ending you chose… another KOTOR as well. Both extremely well-made series

One of my favorite bits isn't even the really emotional scream he does to vader about Juno being real to him, but rather the light side ending when he stares vader down and says: "I let you live". A more subdued but just as amazing line.
  • Man I love that Line that Kota said “we will execute him so we can show the galaxy that we don’t need to fear him any longer” it’s just screams how Vader was a total badass, feared persona to the galaxy
  • I still hope that Disney decides to bring back Galen. It would be easy due to the introduction of the Inquisitors. All they would have to do is make Galen picked up during the first 10ish years and Vader takes a particular liking to him due to his sheer natural power
  • You NEED to play the dlc for this game. Trust me I fills in the holes of the game and honestly acts as a “what if” marvel thing.

I discovered this game when I was recovering from a Brain Injury and trying to piece my life back together. Trying to figure out who I was similar to the clone of Starkiller. The criticism to this game are valid. Rushed and repetitive. For only having 9 months to work on this game they did a great job. I have a soft spot for this game. It gave me hope during a dark part of my life.
  • Hi. I hope that you are doing well. If I recall correctly, I recommended Force Unleashed 1 and 2 to you. Thank you for doing them. I hope that you have a wonderful life and the same goes for your family.
  • @chancewrightva
I'm still holding out hope that we'll eventually get a Force Unleashed 3.
  • @ryanscanlon2151
For the final Vader fight in this game I mind controlled the other clones to fight Vader for me, it was historical because Vader doesn't defend correctly against the clones only the player. The level of messed up the sith mind trick was is incredible lol
  • This game was my entire childhood!!! Thank you for going through the force unleashed games and reminding me how epic they were
  • @jmullyy
7:53 - That sound bite was used for Palpatines scream, however it's not just that. It's an ancient sith "Force scream" and is used by the most powerful sith.

I love this series! I agree with what you said how this game could've been so much more, but was rushed due to time constrants. But nontheless Galen Marek will always be one of my favorite characters in all star wars media. But I do wonder, will you do a bonus episode covering the DLCs? I know they don't have as much content but I still think they're pretty great in their own reguard.
  • @NotMe6044
"They are real to me!" is a line that's stuck with me since I first played this game (on the DS. Would not recommend). Sam Witwer's delivery is just... a gut punch? heart wrenching? IDK, but I still quote it at every opportunity...
