Triple-digit temperatures meant another day of struggling to stay comfortable but that was especially true for several hundred Centerpoint customers who were without electricity on Friday on purpose. FOX 26 Business Reporter Tom Zizka says it was an inconvenient time for maintenance.

I was in Japan recently and much of the disruptive construction and maintenance work is done at night when it doesn't affect many people. This would make even more sense in this kind of heat.

I understand center point, human beings, are so spoiled and can't adapt, to adverse effects. Worst, things are coming. All we can do is prepare, or suffer, and complain.

The customers can plan ahead and be inconvenienced because centerpoint certainly didn't plan. What a rinky-dink $hitshow of a company!
