Blender - Fixing The UV Sphere - #13 Subdivision Surface Modelling in Blender

The UV Sphere has always been avoided in subdivision surface modelling because of the pinching which happens at the poles. I have a fix for that!

I am a perma-amateur; I have a day job and I'm old; there simply aren't enough hours remaining for me to know it all. I want to model in Blender specifically to create gaming miniatures and 3D print them. What are some search words you'd recommend for me? I'd wager I can become competent if I focus on what I need.

    Hi Ian...great tutorial...but what if I want to model this same model to industry standard (no normal changes)..do you have a video that shows that workflow and with a Quad sphere?
