I just found the other Glamrock Freddy

When Ruin came out we were given the question: Are there two Glamrock Freddies? This resulted from our Freddy having the word prototype labeled on the bottom of his foot. While the community, including myself, came to realize that they were the same Freddy, Steel Wool didn't want to drop the topic. By looking at the cold storage minigame in Help Wanted 2, we can see that there might just be another Glamrock Freddy after all. By comparing the two Freddies, and looking at clues left in Security Breach, I came to the conclusion that they were not the same.

If you take problem to my findings, or found that I got something wrong, please let me know in the comments in a respectful manner.

To think the fnaf community has to think so much because of a different FOOT really goes to show how dedicated someone can be. But please Steel Wool, start making stuff make sense.

Freddy: on the verge of a existential crisis and is about to break it down

Gregory: "L ratio didn't ask, stfu"

I adore the joke where you asked prototype Freddy if he got a new haircut then cutting straight to the death animation without saying a word. You get a like for that alone.
  • The thing about Freddy's hatch being for birthday cakes... He specifically stated OVERSIZED birthday cake. I don't know about you, but the cake holder in HW2 looked to hold a more standard sized cake to me.

An interesting theory. But I am not sure the lack of ice-cream cake storage equipment is that strong as evidence for it being a different Freddy.
It could reasonably be a removable compartment. Freddy does not need an internal freezer when on stage, the last activity he was doing before the start of security breach.
So to enhance mobility they would probably just disengage the freezer compartment. to put back in when it is to be used next.

I actually didn't even know about that dialogue in Parts and Services! Noone ever brings that up. That's so cool! I wish more people brought that up! That adds so much more to Glamrock Freddy
  • @cleaveuntome42
Also Freddy says "am I special" !!
    I wonder if that matters
  • This is a really good video, however there is one problem with it. The Prototype/Ruin Glamrock Freddy has sharper spikes on his arm bands than normal Glamrock Freddy. He also has sharper claws on his endo’s hands and feet than a normal Glamrock Endo. Making it impossible for the Glamrock Freddy from SB and HW2 to be the prototype.

While the theory of the reason Freddy breaks down is pretty good one of your bigger pieces of evidence has an explanation.
The frozen Endo was actually planned to be in SB’s Cold Storage as Gregory has an unused line mentioning a frozen Endo. It’s likely that they just put the unused model there for no big reason, but the connection would be cool if intentional (pun intended laugh now)

I personally think the prototype Freddy and our Freddy are not the same Freddy, the bracelets on the prototype have sharp spikes, our freddy lacks such spikes, and if our Freddy was the prototype and the prototype text was just painted over and it faded over time, the text wouldn’t be nearly as clear as it is
  • Not sure if I fully believe it, but it's a great theory. I haven't seen any other theories answer the frozen endo and "I am not me" as well as this one did

Honestly I was thinking you would say that the ORIGINAL Freddy was the one that broke down on stage, and the prototype is the one that wakes up in the green room, but honestly I still think this is an interesting idea. The only real gripe I can find with it is that in this scenario, the “prototype” words are on his SHELL, not the endo, meaning the word prototype would’ve been on the original’s shell too, since it’s implied they keep the shells and just put them on new endos

:definition of the FNAF lore and franchise: ...meat pretzel
  • @paranaenselol
Btw the cake holder in freddy is not part of the endo, its a sepparate piece in the game files.
Also all the glamrocks have coolant, theres some blue tubes in all animatronics to transfer coolant, and a coolant box in the back of their chest, so it functions like a AC or fridge refrigerant liquid
  • @henrigatos2010
finaly someone who says that glamrock freddy from security breach isn't the same from help wanted 2. freddy in sb is so nice when in hp2 he's super sassy for no reason (i mean sun's also preety sassy in that game)
  • @electrobob992
I just hope steel wool will just directly answer things in the next game.
Like is the Mimic and Burntrap really the same thing, or is one afton and the other a mimic based off him.
Did Roxy actually die, or did she survive.
Was gregory truly the one to break the elevator, or was it something done by the Mimic and possibly the blob.
  • @Mustangconcept
Yea, like whats the point of all the bare endos and the whole endo "school" to teach them not to hurt kids if they aren't there to replace the existing glamrocks when they malfunction. If it was just the glamrocks themselves they would repair the existing ones instead of reshelling the newer endos
  • @psychedelicfr0g
this video is AWESOME. I've put over 100 hours into security breach but I have never taken freddy to the room with the endoskeletons. (i avoid that section like the plague) this video REALLY calms my brain because the foot is just, so hard to explain otherwise.
  • @jefesusmuel8392
you know the theory gets good when it has the fnaftuber explaining how fridges work to you.
