how come I dont have the bookshelf icon at top. mine doesnt show any that yours shows. only shows File, library and view.

Whilst you got the import/add unauthorised Kontakt libraries right you missed one important step. Kontakt 7 includes the Komplete Kontrol gui the bookshelf icon as you said, but it only has the gui. If you install and open Komplete kontrol with the unauthorised libraries added, you can then add your own tags so individual patches are searchable. Unfortunately this has to be done on an individual basis until some geek creates a batch process app but for now it all has to be done manually.

Is it possible to switch instruments using the computer keyboard in a own created instrument bank? - I don't want to use the mouse cursor because I play the digital saxophone and it is not practical.

if your template uses kontakt 6, It is correct that they wont update to kontakt 7, so effectively you have to update the template for kontakt 7?

Hi I have a problem on my Kontakt 7. I bought the Bundle Crossgrade of Kontakt 7 but the interface looks slightly different. After Kontakt I don't have the symbols, it shows only File, Library and View. Any help? Thank you so much

Chris, I often use sample libraries with .nki files which contain many hundreds of presets. I heard that Kontakt 7 can help to organize these presets, and perhaps even to preview the sounds. That would seem to be a big change -- is it true? I would really like to see how it works, before upgrading from version 6.

I still prefer v-6 as well. I grabbed the v7 update (free version ) and the coolest ting is being able to preview the sounds . This is helpful with the sound design type of libraries that are too deep to always know what you're looking for. But I think overall it way too cumbersome to load in all those tens of thousands of patches the way v7 does. When you first start out with it be prepared for a long, long wait while it loads up every patch from every library you own. Bleh.

Trying to install Kontakt 7 broke everything in Native Access for me. Worst software ever. Tried all their error solutions. Reinstalled 5 times. Errors galore AFTER buying Kontakt 7. Native Access actually worked when I was using their free plugins. Now everything is broken after I bought Kontakt 7. Uninstalled this shit. Never touching their crap again.
