Joseph's brothers had had enough. What with the fabulous coat and now these dreadful dreams, they felt the time had come to get rid of their annoying brother. One day when they were out in the fields, the brothers set upon him, tearing off his precious multi-colored coat and throwing him in a deep pit. Then they sat down nearby to eat, deaf to his cries for help.
