J CUTS ARE MY FAVOURITE! Also, how many times did I say story in this video?
-
+100 respect points for using the term 'techniques' instead of 'hacks'.
-
Audio is the element that holds EVERYTHING together in the edit. Great video

J Cuts are the BEST! They also really, really help when cutting down long sequences of dialogue! Recently I had to do a corporate video of two people talking, and I basically had to turn a ten minute video into a three minute video. By using lots of J cuts it's so easy to make those cuts super seamless, making it look as if it was just one short conversation all along!

I like how you showed the timeline and how it looks on the timeline, because so many of us are visual learners and seeing how it would look helps because we can go back and look and if we see something way different in our panel, we know we messed up somewhere and also you two are just awesome.
