How BTS has done so much for k-pop that other groups have no other choice but to follow what they do as it becomes THE standard. He talks about how having lot of backup dancers for performances, being active on social media and releasing Behind the scenes stuff has now become the norm due to BTS' influence. Even though Seventeen debuted just 2 years after BTS they have so much respect for them. The members aren't even that younger either (1995 to 1999). Hoshi being a 96 liner. It just shows how influential BTS are to k-pop. He even says that he bets every k-pop group believes this to be true and that BTS paved the way for k-pop to be this big outside of Korea and acknowledges their hard work.

bts also help put korea on the map and clothes kdrama and food is now consumed all over the world making it more easy for new groups to get noticed. even if BTS records might be broken in the future who know. they did it first when it was hardest and totally new. and that is so speciel. like the Beatles bring the British wave to the US
