Soldier Morten | Chain parries & network errors

Imagine being so bad, you lose a 2v1 vs. a single 2H straight sword user in basic Limgrave gear.

______________________________________

In this invasion, Soldier Morten encounters a duo in front of Summonwater Village. The pair seem to be quite capable, but with some clever poison and parries, Morten looks poised to carry the day!

This build is level 30, starting off the Hero class. He wears the Iron set with Mausoleum Gauntlets and Greaves, and wields a trusty Broadsword (Spinning Slash), Bastard Sword (Storm Stomp), Iron Roundshield (Parry), and his Heavy Crossbow.

He's a mostly honest invader in Limgrave/Weeping Peninsula, having gone up to Godrick at the furthest (outside of Liurnia for the Bloody Finger). Morten has two talisman slots, which hold the Crimson Amber Medallion and Arsenal Charm; both of these are obtainable within the starting areas before Liurnia.

There are enough Golden Seeds in Limgrave/Peninsula to allow me five total flasks in invasions, of which I allocated three Crimson Tear flasks and two Cerulean Tear flasks. Realistically, I could get away with one less Cerulean flask, given how FP isn't vital to Morten. Sacred Tears number four in the general Limgrave areas, but I did sneak around Stormveil for the fifth right behind it.

All in all, Soldier Morten is my personal favourite low level invader, and I hope to showcase more clips of him beating geared up phantoms and hosts for your pleasure!

Dems were some nice parrys, love the commentary too!
  • If you're having trouble poisoning your opponent with the grease, poison their mind instead. Tell them that "Level your VIGOR" is the new "Level your ADP" and that they should be mad and go against it. That'll tilt them I bet
