That power slide while getting a reset is something I started doing about a year ago and you are legit the first person I’ve seen talk about it. Kudos, definitely subbed
  • @fisc_rl
This is the first "tips" video I've seen for rocket league in years where i actually learned something new.

Man, just a few minutes practicing that powerslide on flip resets is working wonders! So much easier for me to get a quality follow-up or multi-resets. Great tips!
  • @Palaecro
1600 hours in and that goal curve just blew my mind.

7500 hours, GC2, been playing since release and I didn't know that if holding acceleration in the air changes your direction. Also, tapping powerslide on the reset is also something I didn't know about. I'm feeling stupid now. This explains why my wall plays feels so off when the ball is close to me. And about the powerslide tap, this explains why I can't get my flip resets consistant, eventho I know the right flip + timing about getting multiple resets. It's just that I always get launched off the ball that it's impossible for me to catch up. Yet the wall on the post trick is something I knew and thought it's common knowledge, which apparently is not. And eventho I'm consistant with flicks, this sparkling tip can help for sure! Overall, this was actually a super helpful video. Later that day I will play some 2s and I will come back to this video and talk about how the session went. Thanks for this video!

I never comment but this was some solid knowledge and the slowdowns helped as far as the inputs for certain orientations. Well done 👏🏾

This is so good! Super straight to the point. Thanks Booma
  • @DDayter
Dude that little bump right before the goal is going to be a game changer! I never even noticed that! Great vid Booma!
  • @name_christian

  • @9al717
great tips man keep the good content
  • @Nerivean
Amazing tips! I've heard of not holding acceleration with aerial mechanics but on kbm it's hard cuz forward and nose down tilt are the same key bind
  • @Dio-2814
Bro, you are a legend, these tips would definitely help. (I will Sub!) Have a wonderful day, or night!

OH DANG! Some important stuff that I had no clue about (but then I'm low champ at best). I didn't know about the power-slide during flip resets (which I cannot do anyway). More useful for me is the flick while sparking tip (making sure it is not sparking when you flick). I've played for a very long time, but I am old and my play looks like it (meaning slow to learn new mechanics).
  • @arrogantott
great tips. i may be mistaken but i thought in a previous video u mentioned free air roll when coming in contact with the ball for a reset, which is what i been doing. should i switch to power slide or is it the same?
