This is a very informative video. Your number 4 just hits the nail on the head. The best thing to get students to come to your house. Going to a place like a library or to their house is not that effective I feel and when students have to go to your home to get tutored it sets the right tone and atmosphere for the tutoring. When I had to tutor at peoples homes I always had discipline problems and parents becomeing more of a burden than a help. for example, serving snacks in the middle of a session. I know they mean well but its a bit counterproductive.

Hi! I just watched your tips for tutoring on YouTube and I thought I would reach out because I am retiring after 30 years at my Chicago Public school, 28 of those years are in kindergarten. I would love to do a kick off to kindergarten tutoring program! I do have to admit it sounds scary and what about letting strangers in your house? That's kinda what I'm thinking about!! This sounds perfect for me because I still want to earn money and I definitely cannot sit around and not have anything to do!! Yikes! I'm also looking at all your content and have no idea how you have time to even do all of it. It is hilarious and so true! Looking forward to hearing from you.

I'm genuinely eager to learn about the specifics of the contract. As a tutor, I've unfortunately had negative encounters with clients before.
