The Gripen historically had the AMRAAMS. They're holding back on those until a later update. Will be interesting to see what planes will get them as Sweden is slated to have two Gripen models by then, A and C, and as we can see with the Viggen, the C variant isn't allowed its historical RB-74s, only the D variant gets them. Viggen D could also carry AMRAAMS historically. I strongly doubt Gaijin will give it those but we'll see. You can see with the MiG-29s recently added they're still holding back newer missiles on older models that used them historically. For balance, or to control progression, or to make later models in the tech tree more attractive. Likewise the German F-4F phantom still uses Aim-9Js instead of Ls, despite the Germans never fielding the Js.

i feel like this is probably the best plane in sim rn because of the manoeuvrability and insanely overpowered missiles

The reason the jas39 gripen has the skyflash is because it was designed to be able to carry them but no one used it and just went for the fox3 missiles

F-15J is an improved F-15C, which was first delivered in 1985, the F-15J is 99% of an F-15C but having EW pods in the tips of the rudders

They need to add 1v1 and 2v2 modes with every difficulty (sim, realistic..) maybe 4v4 or 3v3 even 5v5

Top Tier is a mess. Just like Germany having East German Migs and West German F4s. Now: East German MiG-29s are fighting Soviet MiG-29s with Chinese F-16s. There is also a bug where Friendly planes will set off your R.W.R. with their radar locks when you are behind them.

Grinding for it now. The DF's are... certainly something.

exactly! what is the point of a huge ass map, with vulcanos and what not, when all the ground targets are at one place.
