  • Greetings from a South Korean in South Korea. I never knew this role of India in the Korean war. I would like to say I tremendously appreciate the great help and effort made by India to bring peace to the Korean peninsula, and I would also like to praise the gigantic success of the India's plan and practice with regard to the treatment of the PoWs in a war that would just never end. Overall, and geopolitically, I think this story tells us the importance of the India's position in the international community as a crucial balancing power. As India is growing exponentially in the economic area, we can expect far more and bigger roles that India will play in the world, and we look forward to it. Thank you, India. Love, from South Korea.

In Germany we learn nothing like this in school. We only learn how the good Americans save us from Hitler.
  • "Enter the United States. They did what they do best. They 'intervened'." Palki is so savage 😂 I love her!

This was a history lesson. I knew nothing about India's role in the Korean war. Thanks for enlightening.

9:50 "India's neutrality isn't just a self- serving policy, it can be a tool for peacemaking" ❤❤
  • I live in Canada and have a few Korean friends.Even they (including me) had never heard of India's contribution as a peace Keeper in the Korean war. I have know some very old Canadian Korean War veterans and no body ever mentioned anything about India's great effort to help defuse the situation and the humanitarian work of the medical core. I am equally surprised that any of the current or the past governments of India have made any effort to bring it into the history books, taught in the schools. Its a shame. Thank you Palki Ji for bringing this to lime light. As usual, you have done a great job.

I came to know this story by a Korean Youtuber, it wasn't in detail, I guess there is a memorial or statute thanking the Indian soldiers. Thanks😊 Palki for sharing this story, I wish it could reach maximum people mostly in west
  • @aungmyint147
Great story telling of India's role in Korean War as it happened.
  • These are the story that have been kept and outshine by some western double standard wanna be hero. It's great to know this.
  • No educational bodies of our country teach these in our schools. Infact these instances are what make our children understand how big of a nation is our India . And won't dream of migrating to some small European nations! Jai hind!

Great contributions from Bharat to the World. Based on the principles from our culture: Om Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah, Sarve Santu Nir-Aamayaah | Sarve Bhadraanni Pashyantu, Maa Kashcid-Duhkha-Bhaag-Bhavet | Means: May everyone be happy, may everyone be free from all diseases may everyone see goodness and auspiciousness in everything, may none be unhappy or distressed.

We, as Indians, need to recall our own history. Not in fantastical ways in which politicians often do, but with actual education and knowledge. I am really glad to see Palki taking up the mantle to present these stories in this format. I wish this show nothing but tremendous success!

  • I never knew about this peace making gesture of Bharat, way back in 1953. We as Sanatan nation have believed in maintaining peace everywhere. Even so our mantras & hymns too end in Om Shanti, Shanti, Shanti (Let only peace prevail).
