Is no one else gonna appreciate the fact Mob also set up a barrier around the building so the explosion doesn't spread?

Some say that the percentage that appears on screen isn't representing the amount of power output Mob is using, rather it is a representation of the amount of production quality used in said scene.

Mob's psychic break meter, in season one especially, was the coolest thing. Instead of him just suddenly being like "Ok, super saiyan time," it shows the progress and what events brought him to that point. I also appreciate that the small things got to him, ultimately contributing to his meltdown. It's just so human that even simple things like getting annoyed by accidentally bending a spoon or Reigen saying something a little rude would mount on him. The meter just adds an extra sense of "Aw shit," instead of a Dragonball power up sequence of Mob yelling and gaining power.

Mob screaming Ritsu's name is probably the saddest thing in this fight. He was so worried about Ritsu that he actually broke the rule of not using his powers on people.

Ritsu used to see his brother as a monster. However in this scene he saw his brother being beaten to death. Truly powerful stuff.

Just realized that Mob's percentage didn't actually go up when he was taking blows for Ritsu, but the moment Ritsu got hurt again his percentage shot up fast.

one punch man was great, but mob.... mob is a masterpiece. The way the author combines the overdone superpower theme with characters who are just that real and down to earth... a masterpiece.

Even when his emotions overwhelmed him, Mob didn’t go all-out. You can notice he puts up a barrier during that final attack to minimize the damage he causes to the environment. I swear, every single scene in this series has so much thought put into it.

the art style in this show is just so refreshing -- it's not pretty or always aesthetically pleasing. it just feels more human than anime in which every character looks like a model.
