Shooting F1 is not a cheap excercise and some of what's inside my US$55,000 camera bag will definitely surprise you. On top of what you'll see here, I take a number of external hard drives and pack it all in a Think Tank Essentials Convertible Rolling Backpack and a Retrospective 10 shoulder bag.
NOTE: Prices quoted here are from Australia and converted to US$ on 13/2/2022.,

Thank you! Great video. 👍... helpful data transfer and processing has always slow me down.

Loved this video Kym. So interesting to see all the tech that allows you to deliver those super images and content from the road. Looking forward to seeing lots of 2022 shots through those lenses. Safe travels 👍🏻

Great video. always love your explanations and you don't hold back if something is not working for you. Time is money so having a tool that makes that process easier is great. Just got my Z9 with car autofocus so will have to see if I can get to your level soon. Thanks for sharing Kym.

Just discovered your channel with this video and loved the insight to the gear you take with you! That StreamDeck usage was brilliant too — it immediately inspired me for some ideas for a new TouchOSC layout on my iPad. I already have a pretty complex setup for livestreaming, but hadn't considered making one for use with Lightroom metadata/export. Cheers!

Always wondered how you were so quick with the uploads! Great insight!

Thanks. Really grateful for such a detailed video showing what you carry around.🏁

Great video! Always like how you honestly tell viewers "what to avoid" too (in your travel videos as well as this one). Question: You mentioned a service you use to post your Instagram photos..... which one is it? I'm still looking for a good one! Thanks!

Thanks mate always enjoy watching your videos and the bloopers at the end are freaking comical. Love the organisation you have going on.

So awesome to see how your Youtube channel has grown 🙌🏻

Great insights into the mechanics of your operation.

I'm so hyped to see what you're going to create with the R3. I upgraded last year to the R6. And I love it. It's different. But great. Mirrorless is a whole new ballgame! And the flip screen makes my life easy. ;)

Love the Blooper at the end. I am looking forward to see how the R3 performs in the low light in F1.

Thanks Kym, loved this one!🙏🏻We learned a lot in a short time-brilliant!📸🏁

Very informative seeing all the kit that is needed to follow and capture a high tech spot such as F1, in fact one could say that your tech is also "High Tech" nicely done. Thank you

Hi Kym, great video. Any chance of some side by sides with the old cameras? One thing to note, the noise cancellation on the AirPods is not actually offering hearing protection, and there is no research to suggest it does. Working in noisy environments I was curious when you mentioned it. You will see a lot of the pit crew will have moulded in ear monitors, and I imagine one of the major players in this like ACS will turn up at races from time to time. At current there isn’t really a wireless solution to these, so that might be a reason not to. But you will thank yourself for proper hearing protection in the future. I use ACS as I work at gigs and I am used to loud environments.
