I like how isolated Ethan's arc is from everything else with little involvement from the government or recurring characters (Literally only Chris appearing). It's just a story of a normal guy on the pursuit of saving his wife and daughter.

The amount of people in this franchise who seem to have no problem injecting themselves with dangerous shit lol.

Out of every franchise with a long-running storyline, I’m blown away that a stage play is considered canon.

I suppose the lesson we all learned from this series is, no matter how big and scary you evolve to, there’s always a little man waiting to shoot and kill you with piddly bullets.

Do you ever think Leon wakes up sees another outbreak and just rolls over and goes back to bed?

Having it all laid out like this really puts into perspective how goofy this series actually is.

The self destruct system is litterally a thing in every capcom game 😂

I've finished almost all the resident evil games, but ethan hits different for me. because when everyone was fighting monsters, they did it just to finish their mission but ethan did it to save his family. also ethan was alone doing all this, no one helped him but most of the other resident evil characters were accompanied by people to help them. he received no training to fight monsters, but he finished even the most difficult bosses and the most disgusting scenes. what he went through was very difficult for him, but he didn't give up. i think that's why i love him more.

As someone who knows nothing about this series, hearing 1:11:28 “…tells Leon that his current outfit doesn’t suit him” followed by a moment of silence to mourn Leon’s death by 4th degree burns was truly breathtaking storytelling, thank you.

This series seems to very accurately display/reflect human nature. After an almost technically zombie apocalypse event in 1998, instead of people being like, “wow. We almost caused the end of the world, let’s never do that again” people think, “you know what would be a great idea? Let’s take an almost world-ending virus and mutate it to make it even more dangerous!”

I love how they could keep the story almost intact across the main game, spin off, movie, manga, and theatrical play so far.
