I love how Kirby games progress. At first it's like 'cute game with cuddly creatures' and them somehow it spirals into 'banish the hell god spawned from the horror dimension back to where it belongs before literally everyone dies'

Kirby games always head the same way. Starts off with a handfull of cute characters, cute scenario, simple storyboard... And then it becomes an eldritch hellscape.

"The final battle at hand, Void takes his first steps towards a new age. In place of a tyrannical rage, will he find...naptime? Gentle breezes? Treats? He may even dream again..." A dream of friends reunited!

One is born with love and life, one is born in a world of strife. One is pink and friendly and free, one just wants to be something he'll never be. If you think about it, even Void and Kirby's powers are two faces of the same medal. Kirby, a creature who has zero abilities by himself, has a plethra of infinite possibilities in front of him, depending on who he will inhale, always evolving, always turning into something new and more powerful. On the other hand, Void is "infinitely" powerful, capable of destroying everything with a simple thought, cannot evolve or change himself. He is already infinite, the pinnacle of his possible growth. Thus leaving him Zero possibilities to turn into something else, something different. Maybe something that can enjoy a snack under a tree, or dream of his friends.

Kirby. Once, a little void.. He saw every positive thing during his birth... Became what we love, with an incredible power. Void Termina. One of the many voids who has always seen negativity.. It is filled with rage, he saw a grasp of postivity. By fighting his foe.. Slowly becoming him.. But the negativity was too much for him. Causing him to have infinite power, rage, and pain.. He's filled up with rage, knowing he won't be like his foe... Happy.

I like to imagine each Dream Friends reaction to Witnessing Void Terminas arrival. Ribbon gasping from the sight of its white and red crystal wings. Magolor in stunned awe of a creature who can spawn a relic of the ancients Gooey reflecting on finding a creature who shifts from dual to mono eye. Dedede staring at the face of his rival. Rick, Coo, Kine. There to see it's final shape. All knowing that the once scourge of Popstar and Ripple star, Is shaped like friend.

Whether or not he will reach the Spring Breeze, or explore his Dream Land, Void is stuck, to remain as an absolute Zero.

There's something so interesting in Kirby's lore, the fact that, despite the stories of unknown past that unravel in front of our group of protagonists, all of them are easily sweep away, uninterested in the mythos behind them, not seeking, well except for Meta knight, this divine artefacts left by the ancients for their own gain. Instead, they follow their own paths, enjoying the small things life has to offer, like eating an apple covered by the shade of a tree alongside a friend; a fire forged rivalry turned friendship, a good ol'spar against a loyal subject. In the Kirby universe, it's been proven so far that, it isn't the knowledge that turns people evil, it's their greed for power that turns in the genesis of their downfall.
