Thank you for this video. Excellent song - to me one of his 3 best. Thanks also for your opinion of him. He really did put up with so many attacks against him. And obviously, he was super talented in so many ways. There will never be another artist like him.

Great reaction vid! I too felt that negativity from the media was definitely overkill. Much ado about nothing, so much that the general public became blinded from the sheer genius of this man.

Great reaction! I love it when MJ goes into the "Liz-shrine" and looks around at stuff like "Huh? That's cool, that would be nice were it true..." since, as you say - there's nothing wrong with having a place in your house dedicated to a rolemodel or like someone you look up to. Actually, quite many rumours about MJ, weren't weird on their own merits. It got so much worse than this and those are the rumours one tends to remember for their viciousness. But like, what Lauren said about "conifides in pet monkey", what pet caretaker does not talk to their animal friend? It's only said in a way that's not inviting the reader to identify with it. Also, negative stuff like "has big depts" like, yeah me too, but I don't have them from being an investor and a philanthropist, only from having a low income/having studied, or whatever. However, all these rumours about nothing really, served to make MJ someone to pick on rather than to take interest in. Someone subhuman to whom subjectification isn't needed and hence reality doesn't apply, rather than someone real and very much human. Great tune, great film. To me, MJ breaking lose and rising tall in the end, also symbolizes MJ telling them who are using MJ's flesh to creating this cirkus, that "I see what you are doing and I can play along, but it has nothing to do with me and you can't control me. I'm breaking free." Power move.

I agree! One of the things I love about MJ is with all the power and influence he never "lost his cool" if he did say something it was through music. Most people who obtain fame and power go off treating people like shit and lashing about doing whatever they want and just acting like a brat, but MJ always kept this regal demeanor.

Perfect interpretation of this short film. He WAS above all that. He put up with it. And he didn't deserve to be such a target. Thank you for what you do.
