Fall is, without a doubt, my favorite time of the year. Why? Well, not just because the walleye fishing gets good again, and not just because hunting seasons are finally here, and not only does dryland trapping start NEXT WEEKEND (whooooo!) but because squash is finally in season, too. And one of my FAVORITE ways to use up butternut squash that I don't want to go to waste is to make some homemade butternut squash ravioli, flash freeze it, vacuum pack it, and put it in the freezer for a quick, easy, and delicious pasta meal.
