Penticton bus Route 3 change affects many, were any consulted or merely informed by bus driver?

Did the city consult with the bus users in several seniors complexes around the bus stop on Abbott St, the drivers of the bus route, the company who runs the busses? Apparently not. Did the city look at any effects on traffic, north and south of Westminster on Ellis? There are several breweries at this corner as well as other businesses that may have larger vehicle traffic.
Is this the effect they are planning to create on South Main with their boulevards to eliminate much vehicle parking on a street with multiple 100s of homes in a lot of complexes (gatherings), a Sikh temple (weddings/funerals/parade event) Seniors centre, (weddings/funerals/other events including horseshoes, pickle ball courts). If this is what the city is doing, council better stop voting as advised.
