I get the idea of locking your bike up in a visible area but it also makes it more visible for thieves to see. I think if people see someone stealing a bike, most will just mind their business and won’t say anything also.

I think you forgot to mention about security camera, lock the bike in a place where security camera can capture the footage. Also, hide an air tag somewhere hidden so that you may retrieve your bike in case if it gets stolen.

Never use a cable or a foldable lock. Both are easy to break into with minimal effort. Having convenience is never good for compromise in security of your bike.

All those locks are useless if the thief has an angle grinder.....Use LITELOK locks or HIPLOCK...!!
