There are so many matches to remember!

Me and my friends have always thought it was funny that Ken talks to Terry in Japanese and to Ryu in English.

I like how 3:24 references the Guile-like statue Rugal had in his collection at the end of KOF '94. Capcom clearly noticed the dig and wasn't going to let it go unmentioned.

So much love and effort put into these older games.

OMG...I didn't realize until just now that the Ryu/Ryo intro is a homage to the way the fighters would jump back before a match in Art of Fighting. So cool!

I like how every character has their own unique rhythm and bounce that suits their fighting style and personality. nice attention to detail.

Besides, Andy's name in Japanese is pronounced "Andi", with an EE sound at the end. For reference, just listen to Mai's KO cry, where she calls out to him. One of the greatest fighting games ever made.

I used to sleep over my cousins house who had this game. He mained Kyo and I mained Iori. It would be 2am and we'd be hopped up on moutain dew. Everytime their intro hit, we'd get so hyped like we we're fighting for our families honor. lol. We were so lame. Those were the days man...

Pls I need the intro between Terry and Ken in Sf 6

Pretty sure Yamazaki is calling Terry “Andy”. In kof lore, he gets Andy and Terry mixed up, so he is saying, “Andy, you better take this.”

I like how the character portraits change artstyles depending on either the groove is capcom/snk based. very unique.

Fighting games need to do this more often. It’s the subtle touches that make games memorable.

3:24 That KOF '94 reference.

Some of the most epic matchups of all time in this game. When ryu and sagat square off, just like when ryu squares off with ryo, no words are spoken. Just burning intensity.

I don't know why, but the Ken and Terry one always makes me smile.

Back when this game was released it was so insanely cool to see all of these characters, those special intros were an amazing way to show the character's personalities even if you dont know about them new and old rivalries are presented so well and gotta love the meta jokes like the one with Dan and Yuri.
