Finally got a pair! - New Balance 1000 AIME LEON DORE Black Review & On Feet

Have the jfg black ice got um for cheap on stock x and they are 🔥! I went true to size they do run a little big but I rather have room in the toe box though so it’s all good.

I have a black 580 and white 9060. Yesterday I ordered the white 1000 ALD on their website as soon as they launched! Might be my holy grail as it's an in between of both my current shoes

I have the Grey/Silver and black pair and they are the best New Balance I have ever owned. I live in the city and walk everywhere and they are unbelievable. People stare all day every day when I wear them. Some of the silhouettes you guys love are trash to me. Especially the 9060, 1906r looks like a loaf of bread and the 2002r are nursing home sneakers. Cozy fits aren’t the only style in life. The reason Nike is still winning is because you can wear their shoes with any outfit. New Balance is basically sweat outfit options. You can actually dress up the 1000s a lot more.

I copped the ALD grey pair. I saw it in hand, and saw that it has the classic new balance grey color seen in the 990s, with subtle details like "teeth" patterns behind the patent leather seen in the shoes. Happy to just have this and JFG black pair for this model.

I get my Angora w/Moonrock & Almond Oil tomorrow. I can't wait to rock them. BTW, I thought the Black 1000's looked dope on your feet.

Wow, I initially also thought these were underwhelming; however, after seeing them with the patent leather and on your feet Josh they’re not bad; however, it’s not something I would wear often so I think you’re right one and done with this model!

I managed to score an offer for the skepta-like JFG colorway on ebay for $185 I also like these black ald’s but I feel you on really only needing one colorway of this model, and rn i’m really not crazy about any released colorways either, think when we get more general releases they’ll start playing with more material options.

I didn't expect to like the GR but I've enjoyed wearing them. Good daily driver.

Have a pair of JFG's on there way to me. I really like the looks of these (ALD and JFG) but we will see once I have them in hand.

Bro. In ALD website it says they are made from premium leather upper. Patent leathers are not always made from fake leather. It can be plastic or it can be real leather with high gloss plastic coating. So please check again whether they are otherwise.

I think it's insane such a basic colorway is not gonna release for retailers, sucks we only have the silver one for now. Hoping they make a black 1000 pair that is not ALD, with this colorway they are at the top of the black sneaker rankings for me but 220 is kinda crazy esp when they look like the materials are nothing special. Also hoping to see more colorways, I think they can go further with it. the 860 has so many colorways and it feels so underwhelming...have not seen anyone wearing it

I got a W for white pair from the ald raffle but took and L for these black .
