For some of us it's not about cost, time, or amount of steps. For me it's about therapy. I calm naturally when i work with my hands on projects i can see me enjoying. This is one of them. So healing without meds is priceless. You have to admit the video demo is excellent

Okay y’all let’s be honest… if you’re a crafter/DIY’er, then you already know how expensive materials can be. Sure you can go to the dollar tree and skimp on the quality but in the end you’re still spending money regardless. I like having the satisfaction of being able to create stuff myself. And like she said she’s reusing and repurposing a cardboard box so that’s a benefit too. I think her creation is lovely and might try to make my own. Thanks so much for the video… I enjoyed it

I think it's more about doing it yourself rather than just going to the department store buying someone else's design... I LOVE IT !
  • I love to see these projects! I grew up in the 70s/80s- we NEVER just threw everything away- if anyone thought it might prove useful in the future- it was stockpiled. I TRIED to pass this along to my children but I am ALWAYS AMAZED at the things they will automatically toss in the trash. Our planet & our pocketbooks would be in much better shape if we could get this newer generation to realize that there is value in so many of the items they trash. I also love the feeling of accomplishment that comes each time I finish another UP-CYCLED creation!

Красиво. Очень. Но тоже не дёшево. Все эти шнуры, верёвки, джут - достаточно дорогое удовольствие. Поэтому и не намного дешевле получится. Единственный плюс - своими руками и с удовольствием сделанное.❤❤❤❤
  • This basket is really pretty. Way too much work, but this person reminds me of my mom. When my brother and I were little my mom loved making crafts , from paintings, to making her Christmas decorations, to stuff animals and even most of our clothing, she always helped to save money. Those are great memories that’ll always be with me.

I love seeing people upcycle or recycle!!! Less in the landfill! And yes, if you’re making one box and buying the stuff for one project it’s probably not cost effective. But if you make multiples and create them to your liking it’s worth it. And some people, like me, love to make pretty things for myself, to share with friends and family, or to sell

This is beautiful and should be regarded as a handmade work of art. The time and materials actually make it more valuable than a mass produced basket.
  • @themurrrr
You can’t deny how beautiful this came out! I love how it’s completely finished, inside and out, even the bottom. For extra sturdyness, you can also glue down a metal wire along the box edges, underneath all the rope. The rope will hide it, but it gives the box just a little bit more strength.

I buy the $40 basket at the store because I make more than $20 an hour and this would take me literally 12 hours to make LOL. However it is beautiful and you are very talented!! One of the proofs that teaching children to make things by hand is important and wonderful, as they grow up to be especially creative and productive.

Не стоит избегать труда ручного❤можно и самой и с детьми заняться, вместо того чтобы втыкать в "готовый" планшет или телефон) Благодарю за идею🎉Превосходно! 🍀💐👏🤩🙂☺️

I have made several storage boxes this way (hot gluing rope around the cardboard box) but I've not tried a woven pattern like this. I made two covered boxes for my daughter for Christmas and they were customized for the size of the shelf she has. I love saving things from landfills. Very beautiful!
  • @victoriahazel
Love this idea. It would be fun to make and get to say "I made this". Also, for those saying you can buy them for cheap. NO WAY would you find something that looks this nice for less than $15 each.

Ok, so I get everyone’s negativity when it comes to cost of project versus cost of new basket, but for someone that’s trying to organize a small space, it’s a great idea! I can find, or even cut down a box, to the perfect size for the space I need it in. Thank you for this video!
  • @divaj501
I love this idea, especially the freedom to customize it to your liking. Very pretty outcome!!!
  • Great tutorial! Thanks for sharing. Crafters know crafting is therapeutic like nothing else. And to those complaining about her choice of materials...hey! You can always buy exactly the sort of materials you prefer to use. It is obviously customisable, and that's the absolute fun in crafting. 🥂

DIY is totally not my style, but when I come across a video that is explaining it very well and is very well edited I am watching it untill the end just to say Nicely Done, my respect. ❤
  • This is a very nice project but of course you need to buy the materials, too. Thank you for sharing.
  • Nobody would say its a cardboard box. Simple knitting, finishing is Superb Looks too beautiful 🙏
