Congrats, Michelle - Job Well Done! Mahalo for Educating us about Rushmore - What a Travesty! I'll be sure to share this knowledge. The book was delayed a bit so I'm hoping you were able to add the Weather Modification Patents from 1891 from the U.S. Trade and Patent Office ๐

Michelle, I just looked up the image of that mountain before it was carved, and the Lakota had named it that, for PAGAN purposes, not because they had carved it. They didn't. It was named the six grandfathers for earth, sky, etc..and they did not do anything to it, from the looks of the photos. I don't agree with what our American founders did to the Indians, but they have been paid ever since, and it has NOT helped them, that I can see. The last Indians I knew, would get a monthly check, and all jump in the back of an old truck, and head down to the local store to buy all the booze they could get, and then you would see them for the next week, laying under the scrub brush, drunk. I'm sorry but that is the truth. That was in Arizona, 22M south of Tucson, where we lived for awhile.
