I'm so glad the footage leaked and gave us one of the best Marvel movies in history.
  • @Paul77ozee
You have to wonder how better a lot of today’s movies would be if the studio executives just stayed out of the editing room.

'The sequence was called 16 bullets but due to budgetary constraints its now 12 bullets' is the most deadpooly phrase ever spoken and it's not even part of the movie. It's behind the fucking scenes. Even the BTS is breaking the 4th wall.
  • Honestly, it’s a miracle Deadpool ever got made when you think about it. Deadpool is one of the LAST comic book characters I’d ever thought would make it to the big screen, let alone be a smash hit.
  • Love how Ryan is in his Deadpool suit, as if he is in his natural form..

“Nobody likes a green screen, that’s awful.” *Kevin Fegie has entered the chat”

That opening scene is unforgettable honestly....seeing it for the first time, especially in the theater was pretty epic, the only other movie I personally can relate it to was the first Guardians of the Galaxy, which was something I'd never seen before

Ryan Reynolds is a visionary & marketing genius. So glad his vision for the character of Deadpool made it to the big screen.
  • Isn’t it crazy. All that effort, talent and expensive equipment to get the motorcycle camera to follow the stunt driver… and only 1 or 2 brief shots from that were used in the final cut.
  • When you see all the work that goes into it, it makes you appreciate it that much more…

Tim Miller went to the same comic book store I did over in Culver City. I remember the day he was showing people the finished Deadpool test footage on his cell phone. He was kind enough to show me as well. Super nice guy. I was extremely happy to see him go on to succeed with the film years later.
  • @Kinobambino
8:20 that's so interesting. Almost every behind the scenes I've ever seen there's someone who's so proud of an all new movie creation to get the shots they want
  • @Luggi83
Damn. I never really realised the "leaked" test footage was all CGI. It's better than most movie productions these days.
  • @MrE_
I remember my friend in high school showing me this test footage. Then years later, the movie actually came out

It seems like they spent more time on one scene than a lot of films do on their whole project. Had the potential to be a HUGE disappointment and they didn't let that happen. One of the best comic book films ever. Well done.

This is the epitome of letting the people that know what they are doing do they're job, I love it and as a consumer it shows in the final product.

I'm so happy that this all came together, I'm proud that Ryan basically fought for Deadpool to be in film, and the leak that actually made it happen. I cannot wait for DP 3, it's one series that I don't think will get old for sometime! The effort they put in for this scene proves they really wanted to bring the closest version of Deadpool to film, and would've been the worst mistake of Fox if they didn't actually take the film on-board, best decision they have made ever

This made me wanna watch Deadpool again
