Walz was reduced in rank to MSG (E-8) following retirement for failure to complete the SGM academy, failure to complete terms of service obligation, and failure to complete time in grade for assignment. Adiitionally, he NEVER deployed to combat. He has LIED since 2005. END OF STORY.

Gov. Walz lied about his military record for years! The NY Post reported on Walz' claiming he was in combat while talking to a Minn. gun group: “We can research the impacts of gun violence. We can make sure those weapons of war, that I carried in war, are only carried in war,” But Walz was never deployed to a combat zone! Walz also lied about retiring a Command Sgt. Major. FOX interviewed one of Walz' fellow soldiers who was in Walz' unit and actually was a Command Sgt. Major. He said Walz never completed the two-year program requirement and therefore is really a master sergeant! He said he was offended by Walz’ misrepresentation of his rank.

JD never lied about his rank and he never lied about being in combat. That was on Walz.

I can’t believe any vet would ever vote for him. As a vet, this was incredibly upsetting

You didn’t bother to mention due to hearing loss. Years before his retirement it was suggested he retire due to this issues related to being in an Artillery unit. He chose to fulfill his contract. I am disappointed with your coverage.

Just read several interviews with his fellow guardsmen. They were all in agreement that he left the Guard in a cowardly manner.
