Imagine getting bots for your channel instead of doing an actual audio balance on your videos. I can't believe I was recommended to this video that has garbage reaction and content

Hey man. I have been scoping around your videos and content recently.. And what I want to say is.. It's hard being a consistent, successful YouTuber. When I looked at your subscribers (which is 146K subs) then your ordinary view count, I was surprised! You achieved something most YouTubers (even myself) have not accomplished yet. I do believe that your subscribers are NOT bots and actual accounts made by real human beings. But I realized that there are plenty of YouTubers that have a high subscriber count with little to no views. Which means you are kind of a dead channel. BUT, you are not alone. So here is what I can say to hopefully help you to get back and gain subscribers! :) I DO WANT TO SAY: The things I am saying will sound easier said than done. It takes time and effort to make a successful video (like more than 2 years honestly). I also recommend you read this comment more than 2 times if you feel like you are lost (or reply to me with any questions you have). Another thing is that I think that you are taking a break from doing YouTube. It is fine! We all have to take breaks to heal our mental state because the internet is a weird space. Lastly, I have NO HATE towards you. I want this comment to be a constructive criticism about your videos and behavior. We are all humans, and we all make stupid mistakes that cause bad relationships towards other human beings. Even if the things I say might sound personal (because I have been seeing what you have been doing with videos on YouTube and the allegations you have earlier), I want to say I'm trying to help you move on with these actions that could or have damaged your reputation. 1. Treat your YouTube channel like a business I like to treat a YouTube channel like a business. If your business fails, has a bad reputation, or delivers something different that brings no value to the customer, it will go bankrupt no matter what. Same thing with being a YouTuber, if you do something that people would find unnecessary or bad, people would not support you and start harassing you. I believe that the videos that go well MUST PROVIDE BETTER, VALUABLE TIME AND EXPERIENCE FOR THE VIEWER! People will tell if the video they are watching is a waste of their time because they are not getting anything out of it OR the quality of the video is bad. This is terrible for your channel because it will make that viewer not watch anymore of your videos. You have to feel like each video you post is something that you put your heart into. If you want to learn more about this, I recommend you check out Film Booth, HillerSmith, or Alex Hormozi (mainly for business, but I got lots of valuable things from him). In short, quality is important. Create the videos that people understand that you put your heart and soul into. (I also recommend studying how YouTubers do their videos, but I need to say.. you have lots to learn) 2. Don't immediately shove into people's faces. (Probably the easiest step) I looked in the comments in your popular videos (especially the Lumalee video), and I see you asking viewers constantly, "Are you subscribed to me?" THIS DOESN'T HELP YOU AT ALL!!! This might sound confusing, so here is an example. You entered Gamestop, and all you want is to just buy a game. You got the game and head to the cashier to buy it. But the employee keeps on advertising their Gamestop coupons or tells you to do this non-stop, whereas all you want is to buy the darn game. It is annoying, right? Well, that is what you are currently doing. You are shoving viewers' faces to subscribe and watch your videos, but the viewer has NO REASON why they should do it. You may say that you need subs and watch hours. But that makes you DESPERATE!! People might see as a desperate, starving person wanting attention. In reality, the viewer just want to watch the video and move on. And for the worst, they probably won't watch anymore just of you doing that. What I do is to stop this now. You can still comment to your viewers (I recommend this as well), but make sure that you reply to something RELATABLE to the comment (avoid doing repetitive comments, telling people to watch more videos/subscribe, or anything about your YouTube channel). This can bring engagements from you and your audience in a healthy way. In short, stop replying to your comments with those "Are you subscribed to me?" or "Thank you for watching. Make sure to like, share and subscribe." The viewer can do whatever they want. But you might ask how to make sure your viewers come back to your newly uploaded videos (which I do see you ask that to people). Which is.. 3. Build trust for your viewers You actually accomplished this before. What you did was you uploaded Slugterra episodes, and this got you 100k+ subs. You brought value towards people who like watching Slugterra. But then, you started uploading random Splatoon videos or these reaction videos, that does a poor job. This actually kills channels. Most dying channels believe filler content will help viewers watch more videos (I, myself, did this), but that doesn't work. You actually lost the trust of that viewer to watch more videos. What you have to do is, like before, create videos that bring value and entertainment for the viewer (of course, it varies on what type of content you are doing). I would first know that you ABSOLUTELY LOVE doing a type of video, and try creating a variety of those types of videos (make sure it relates to something you can do for like 10+ years). Then find the ones that perform better, and try something similar like that. In short, don't post unnecessary content that the viewer would not care about. 4. Ignore the trolls I watched your allegation video (when it was on your Community Post). The fact that you are accountable from your actions is a really good start. But the thing is that people would never stop bringing that up to you. It maybe too late to say this, but you NEED TO IGNORE IT! And here is the weird truth. Haters want you to respond to them, so they can expose you and start even more drama. It is hard, but that is what most people, especially who are hated (Fortnite cheaters, Kris Tyson), now do. And also, I recommend that you look and understand what the person is saying before you start saying anything to them. Sometimes your mind will think of something completely different or wrong and it will end up in a situation. It is the reason why we have 2 ears and eyes than 2 mouths. Finally and this may sound weird, but people swear all the time. It is a natural habit to a lot of people. I recommend that you let the people talk however they like (that does include swearing). If you believe they are actually annoying (not just you, but other people as well), block them. Honestly if you seriously have a bad mental mindset, I recommend you should check out HealthyGamerGG. In short, do not respond or attack trolls or haters. Either block them or don't do anything. Like I said, consistently growing a YouTube channel is a lot harder and time-consuming than most people thought. Even MrBeast... When he started doing YouTube, he gained 7,000 subs using Sub4Sub. HOWEVER, his videos got no views at all, so he had to delete that channel and start over. Then he made the channel he has now. But when he started, it took him around 5 years to get 1,000 subs. Or like Marques Brownlee, he uploaded 100 videos and gained less than 100 subs. Of course, you already have an advantage with the subscribers, but maintaining YouTube is hard. I hope this comment helps you to try to get back into YouTube or learn something new, since I believe you are taking a break. If you want to start getting into YouTube, I strongly recommend, and I hate to say it, to start a new channel. Yes... It is hard to let go of something you had for a long time. But honestly, most of these subscribers are dead subscribers, and they are never going to watch back. I am again, not trying to force you, but I believe that letting go and learn from your mistakes is a great start. I recommend that you should start with a new, fresh channel, understand what it is like, and gain experience and knowledge on becoming a successful YouTuber. Finally, thank you for taking your time reading this comment. I want to try to give you advice or some criticism that could help you because I feel like you still have a chance to grow big. It will take time, but it would help you in the long-term of your career. If you have any questions regarding this, please reply to this comment. I wish you nothing but the best of luck to you and your future. :) I believe in you ❤ (This is an old comment for a month, but YouTube ghosted this comment.)
