We are going to talk about Bruno, aren’t we?

4:30 Funny how Phoebe talks about how hard is to even damage her Pokémon but doesnt even use the Pokémon whose main gimmick is "good luck dealing damage to it"

The fact none of the Kalos ones lost might be a bigger surprise than anything from the Nintendo Direct

Flint, the fire specialist: "It's a HOT air balloon. Get it?" Don't ask him about his Lopunny.
  • @rakkinen91
Y'know, Flint having a Steelix makes sense because Flint and Steel is used to make fires.

The fact that Geeta is so bad, they had to fix her in a DLC. That’s just all kinds of sad. XD Great video btw!
  • I hate how many important trainers ever since gen 6 have teams where two or more pokémon don’t have a full moveset. Seriously, these are supposed to be boss level trainers, what was GF thinking?
  • In defense of Alder, he wasn’t the acting Champion up until the finale, where he came back because the league asked him to and was fresh out of retirement after a spiritual journey. It’s implied that he’s still rusty during his fight with N and doesn’t get his groove back until the post game. Also, I’m glad there was no shade thrown directly at Avalugg. It’s a good boss Pokémon, Gamefreak just refuses to let NPCs use it optimally; simply giving it Sturdy and Mirror Coat would’ve made it tough to deal with.

Feel like flint doesnt deserve the beating he gets this video, hes legitimatley annoying/tough and doesnt get swept by 1 type

La Primera? Mire like Primera of the worst. "I am incapable of holding back" the proceeds to mismanage her team

I would agree more with Koga's use of Venomoth...if it wasn't synonymous with him. Kinda hard to argue against him using a Pokémon he's had from the start
  • @marick13
Random idea, we already know the worst, why not rank them out. Break it down into 5 videos.

Dude placed Karen so low, I hope she doesn't go talk to Emperor Cubone's manager.

Didn’t expect Caleb to be a savage throughout this video.

Shout out to Geeta for being an easy sweep with Skeledirge. Most of her team is easy set up with Torch Song such that Glimmora can be brute force OHKO by Shadow Ball. I do have to give credit to Diantha in my current Dragon-monotype run of X, she’s been a challenge for me to get through thanks to her team setup. Highly recommend Kalos if you like Dragons and a challenge!

The fanmade mods to the pokemon games where the gym leaders and elite 4s actually feel like what they are supposed to be with movesets and even item usage. MAYBE one day we can get a "hard" mode in official pokemon games or at least have gym leaders and elite 4 members feel like competitive fights not just some roadblocks to move on to the next part of the game.

Imo Koga's lack of poison stabs makes sense if you see narrative trainers not as type specialists, but as strategy and flavor specialists Koga is a ninja and does all the annoying hax. He's kind of a relic of a different kind of pokemon character design that didn't really develop beyond gen 2
  • Geeta annoys me, from her poorly constructed team to the sarcastic sounding comments in the champion fight.
