Thick haar, gales forces winds, hot tomato soup for dinner and putting up the canopy so you don't get wet. Welcome to Scotland in the summer!

Island sailing…sheesh, wind changes, rain, currents, tides and not to mention how the land and rocks can appear…You two have our hearts. We sailed a little around Hawaii, same stuff, only warm…May God be with you. Thanks for sharing…from East Tennessee.
  • GRAND! Well done guys. we are now armchair sailors! we are at or mooring in Knysna RSA, after 3 years working on our 32ft double ender Aries (Thomas Gilmer) we HOPE to set sail soon. we have rented out our house and are committed. iI is channels like yours that inspire us. Sampson Boat Co with Leo is the inspiration to do thins properly, and you and maybe Sailing Sweet Ruca and Uma and so on , inspire us. BUT right now we are warm and cosy with the Dickinson Diesel heater in the cape winter. we ALMOSt went to Cape Town, but didn't as they had 90knot winds yes, 90 KNOTS , check it out. we are in a bubble on the south coat, the weather pretty much misses us. keep it up.
  • Loved this video, both the sailing which looks like an awful lot of work and the somewhat more leisurely exploration of the land.

Stunning photography and soooo different from the normal youtubers. Thanks

I'm so glad for this circumnavigation. Interesting landfall every 100 miles. If someone recently sold your old Canon SLR, you might be a junior celebrity helping Sailing Florence.

Awesome video and what luck to arrive during a festival. I see Florence is tied up next to Alan, Alex Hibbert’s vessel. Double the luck!

Yay another upload🙌 Really look forward to them!

I love these videos & incredibly they just keep getting better & better. The subject matter's great, Amy I could stare at all day long, even when tired she's still a delight, but it's the technical nous that's also remarkable. Using the shipping forecasts as audio, keeping the audio at normal speed when they video's at double, using slow-mo, rack focusing....it's just all so well done & easily as watchable as anything on mainstream TV!

Hello from Campbeltown from ex Hovertravel Southsea staff. Great to see you're well on your way again.
  • I am loving your channel! Florence looks great after the refit and I for one am glad your plans changed and you are now sailing around Great Britain. I was stationed in England '85-'88 with the US Air Force and Great Britain holds a special place in my heart.
