  • If you talked about cutting springs in a fb group they would flip out. They'd say that's the worst thing you can do and you shouldn't be working on cars. Funny thing is I cut my springs long before the internet came along lol.

I just did this to my car after watching this video. I NEVER would have attempted this without this video or some kind of advice. Thanks for the how to’s. Thats the reason I like youtube!

I'm a Camaro guy but I like your channel anyway. Finally someone that tells the truth about cutting springs and shows how to do it properly. I'm looking to cut the springs on my iroc Camaro sometime soon when this PA cold weather decides to kick rocks. My Brother has a fox body and we're always dissing each other, we sound like a couple of teenagers fighting over a girl. Typical Mustang vs Camaro feud. He's got a 5.0 full bolt-ons, headers and exhaust and I have a 350 high compression with an aggressive cam, quadrajet, headers, 5-speed swap. He gets me out of the hole every time but I walk by around the 90 mph mark. I never could believe how well a fox body responds to mods. Good straight line cars but I completely blow him away on the back windy roads. Fun stuff and I like your channel 👍

Just wondering how to fix the front fender alignment from bad jack placement. Please show us! Thanks for all your videos.
  • I found that You can eliminate the stock insulators on the springs and use heat shrink tubing in their place to keep the noise down, makes it ride more smoothly! Great content Thank You . 🇺🇲 🇵🇷 🦊 👍

Bout damn time someone else said it. I’ve been flamed on so many groups etc for “cutting springs” but I hated feeling like I was riding on a 2x4 and still not getting the drop I wanted. This was always my go too
  • @Neomustangs
Good video bruh. I been preaching this for so many years! We talk about this often!!
  • @maximad818
well i'am more confident now to start on my 1999 nissan gloria y33 and start to cut .. al i need was your video thanx bud !! 👍🏻 Old School works better 👍🏻
  • I’ve put shorter vert springs in the back and cut the fronts. Car rode great. I also put a smaller V6 sway bar on the front while leaving the stock 5.0 in the rear. It made the car stop pushing when at cornering grip limit. Handle completely neutral, and was easy to throttle steer if I wanted. Counterintuitive but worked great.
  • Just picked up a mustang for my son his first car we are having a great time with it already restoring it

I bought the tool from MM that's supposed to work wonders. I do like how you slid strut out and left everything on. I was going to do Eibachs but I may try cutting them to see if I like it. I had mine lowered years ago and I hated the ride so much we put stockers back in, which was a struggle. The right side spring didn't go in perfectly, leaving it sitting high on that side and it has been like that for about 20+ years.

I feel like you're letting some people know that they don't control you. I know you're an absolute real everyday dude who works on cars for complete enjoyment. I think it's funny because I think you are telling some group or entity to kiss your ass with this video. Either way I love the enthusiasm and I appreciate you as you were the only dude on YouTube that I talk to or watch regularly. Keep it up man and you will always succeed because you never needed anything but what you had to begin with.
