The man behind that incredible guitar sound is James Calvin Wilsey. He died in 2018 due to issues with various illnesses, brought on by incessant drug and alcohol usage. He battled addiction for a long time and was homeless at the time of his death. He couldn't leave his 15yo son with any money at the time of his passing. Tragic story behind a beautiful sound.

This was on the radio when my Dad was driving me to family the day after my husband was killed in a motorway accident 😢 the pain was just unbearable and i was numb inside i was only 29 and our daughter 14 months old . To this day i love the sound iff Chris voice 30 years on the pain still hurts but i know he’s in a beautiful place above now , from this horrible world were living in now 😔 people full off hate , lets hope things turnaround and lighten our world with love ❤
