Great, but still need a solution for -8s. Monitor is too close and hard to do more things safely without glasses. I'd love you to have a go at strategies for higher myopes

Wanted to add one other comment about not wearing glasses as it is probably the most influential thing I discovered for my myopia recovery. Once I started taking walks with and without glasses on, I discovered that I never looked off at the distance for a long period (no matter if I was wearing my glasses or not). With my glasses, I might look off in the distance for a second but would start scanning and never focus on a single point. It felt strange to even do this. I was always focusing within my 4-6 feet bubble around me (I probably would have never noticed this without going without glasses). After, I noticed a pattern. I noticed that even when driving I focused only on the next couple cars and not what was a up ahead for more than a split second. This helped so much. Even though I do reduced len method, it helped me understand that I needed to look off more for the stimulus my eyes needed.

Did you wear your glasses a little more when you first started? And just stopped wearing them as you improved? also thank you so much for postiing! Always helps me out!

You should consider making a new Q&A video, the last one was in your another channel and it's a long time ago.

Hi Mark, I had left some questions on your other most recent video. And this is day 2 of going without glasses completely. I noticed my closeup vision is a bit blurrier and double visiony. But seeing what you said how when you realized your closeup vision was better without glasses. I realized I experienced the same thing when I did something similar to this method in middle school expect I wore my glasses a bit more throughout the school day. Just a bit more. I also noticed that my eyes have this weird sensation like after a workout. Should I give them a day or 2 to rest or is this a good sign and I should continue the techniques.? I also noticed my eyes are a little more red now, it’s a little concerning-…

Hey Mark great video! I have a question. I too want to only use one pair of glasses when I need them. My question is: How strong should that one pair be? Should there be some slight blur at distance? Or should it be low enough to where if I use them for close up there should be some blur? Thanks!

Using multiple glasses depends alot. I love and hate them. I think they are really needed by people that have high myopia and astigmatism. I am in the group that needs them as I would have to have my monitor at my nose to have it just a little blur --- so not a reality of just moving closer. Also, you can become use to the blur if you are not wearing correction where you can get 20/20 at some point. At the same time, I think that everyone should spend sometime without their glasses on every day. This seems to relax your eyes (if you are not forcing yourself to see details), gives you a chance to see clear flashes, practice some distance pulling, see movement/depth in a natural way, and get needed UV light. I try to not wear glasses for the first hour every morning, while I do an outdoor walk everyday, and when I do some movement exercises (like rocking). I also think the issue about having multiple focus planes is something that depends on the individual. Most of us have multiple already --- e.g., full script glasses, contact (even if perfect, they are going to have a slightly different focus plane), and without your glasses. Sometimes, adding one more is too much for some people. Othertimes, it is not a problem.

Curious to your view on Pinhole glasses. Seems like you should almost get the same effect as with rocking/jumping. Thoughts ?
  • @905JimRaynor
I've already got 10 solid reasons/excuses for rocking and limited 'short' swinging when i'm in the office 😊. So my employees won't think I am crazy. 😊. Also, I am considering putting a 5 gallon aquarium beside my monitor.

Are headaches normal ? I’m still new to this, haven’t used my glasses almost at all in 3 days. Still being aware of peripheral vision

Do these methods work to reverse hyperopia (farsightedness) and presbyopia?
  • @eueu4854
How about Hypermetropia, can those exercises cure it in the same way?
  • can you share how to change our brain to recieve good signal inputs from our environment?

my dilemma is that I have prism glasses due to double vision and convergence insufficiency - and therefore reducing prescription for close up might decrease the effect of the prism glasses in preventing my double vision as much as they do currently (with my currently prescribed glasses opted to distance vision) and reduce close-up viewing quality ...?
  • @shreya3122
Hey Mark As you said you had negative 5 prescription, then what reduced prescription you used that time ??
  • @abdrahmen-fo4bv
Can you please explain more what is bifocal , i didn't get it ??
