  • I work 14 hours a day in a factory with unkind backstabbers, I look forward to being alone, people are nothing but trouble…
  • People have no idea. 30 years O.T.R. cost me my marriage and all of my friends growing up. When you are never home people just fade away and eventually no one is left.
  • I drive all day but I'm home every night. You guys deserve a medal for being out there like you are. It's a hard life I know. Truckers keep this country going. God guide you brothers and keep your families safe.

I'd agree that about 75% of the general public have no clue what it takes to do our job and how long we stay out to work for.

It is what you make of it. I was fresh off of a Divorce in 2000, and I used the road to heal my soul. We are very different people.

we appreciate you truckers, backbone of society 💪 stay strong out there

You and I look at trucking completely different, my man! It saved my life and my soul! I can't think of anything I'd rather do!
  • Worst part is seeing your kids grow and not being able to see them grow n when u leave they say daddy don’t leave me

Im 21 right now in truck driving school. I live with my parents still and am single. Im planning on doing long haul until i can afford a house then do local trucking. I honestly want to drive around America and visit all 48 states. I love adventure.

I’m not a trucker but I am a business owner, I work endlessly. Sometimes people don’t see the sacrifices we make to leave a future for our families. They only see it when we part from this world. Thank you all truck drivers for all the sacrifices you guys make so people can have their goods at home. God bless you all

Trucking is such an under appreciated job. It is the backbone of our nation from our groceries, medical/hospital supplies, gas/oil, and basically everything relies on it. Thank you to all of you who take care of America and stay safe.
  • Dad was a truck driving 20yrs+ long haul car hauler, owner operator. In the prime of his life with older kids and toys, new cars.. a real man. Funniest man alive. Hard ass worker. Committed suicide 2015. RIP Pops. You are still the man. Salute to all the truck drivers who take pride in what they do and provide for theirs. Roll on Convoy.

Truth is, I’d rather be at home every day with my little girls. But this is the only way that I know how to go out and create six figures. Can’t really cultivate a relationship because I’m always gone. It gets rough. Sometimes the pics of the kids and FaceTime is all I have to keep me pushing. God bless the truckers!

After 11 years of non-stop grinding, I started taking little breaks - "gap years". Then I get sick if being home all the time and go back out for a year or three. Then I take another gap year. Keeps me fresh & sane.

People think truckers are just a guy driving a truck but there's so much more to it than that. My brother worked as a trucker and he said it's very lonely so he brought his dog with him. Wasn't that bad with his dog keeping him company especially when you have to sleep for a few hours in your truck and you're alone plus you have someone to talk to. Your dog warns you if anyone approaches your truck. You not only feel safe you feel you have your best friend with you. He loved traveling long distance but he was gone for awhile. He never drove tired he always slept before he started up his rig. God bless truckers and protect them from harm🙏🌹

I've been OTR for years now... it is still and always will be my dream job. I love every second of it. I haven't worked a day in my life.
  • @AS8643
My dad sacrificed his life to the road so my family could have a life .
  • 17 years for me knew it was time to quit when I couldn’t remember what the inside of my house looked like.

I’m a delivery driver and I have so much respect for truck drivers. I find myself having negative thoughts and just feeling so sad. But then I think about how some truck drivers must be feeling sad and having no one to talk to and not being able to go home and see their family. Any delivery job can make you feel so alone because it’s just you and your dark thoughts. This is why I treat people with respect and kindness because you’ll never know what they are going through in their personal life.
  • When I was a Lyft driver picking you guys up was one of my favorite things y'all always wanna talk
