I'm Spanish living in Germany. If you think that Spain is very burocratic, you should try Germany. You would change your mind about Spain :-D

We have lived in Madrid for 9 years and my favourite thing by far is the people! Spanish people are so open and friendly and it's really easy to make friends. You made great points in this video, I agree with almost everything you said.
  • The weather depends on where you live in Spain. I live with my wife and two children for 17 years at the Costa Blanca and I can tell you that it is never as cold or as hot as some places inland. Nothern Spain is also totally something else. Health system is indeed good despite a bit of waiting time sometimes. I had a heart catheterization last year so I know what I am talking about. Really fantastic roads all over the country. Love to drive here. And corruption is all over the world...We have a good gestor, so bureaucratic things we leave to up them. We came here for the four C's: costo, comida, clima, cultura. And safety. More pros than cons for us!
  • When you talk about the way the people drink, is totally true. Here spanish drink to have fun but in UK... oh my God! Its horrible, brits get sooo drunks and the become really violents, my sister used to live in Cardiff, Wales and she prefered to have parties in home, not going in the bars as people got horrible! And here in Spain, some british come on holiday, they drink untill faint...

Living in spain, pros: live great, eat great, dress great, transport great. Cons: none. I’m from Argentina and I don’t live in Spain but being there one week was just great.

Wow this is certainly the most precise overview of this country I've ever heard! I fully agree with you.
  • I went to Madrid last week and I was so impressed by the things I experienced that I have been watching you tube to learn more about spain. I appreciate the information you share.

Un gestor is just someone who knows exactly how to deal with the bureaucracy but normally he doesn’t give any money to make the thinks using shortcuts.

1st pro: in Spain they drive by the right side.

Stuart, thanks for the videos! Really enjoy your clear-headed thinking on the things you cover in these videos. I'm planning to move to Spain (from FInland) in a couple of years and I find your videos great source of quite balanced information. Could be even one of the best sources I've found on YouTube. Keep them coming! Big thanks and hugs!

  • The infraestructures are good, the railway system is good too but the high speed (ave) trains Network is only second to china, in relative terms is the first of the world.

I'm moving to Spain soon, I am originally from Venezuela so corruption, unemploymen, scams, crime and bureaucracy will be a wonderful improvement by comparison.
  • I live in Campo Real, actually so close to you like I see on this video, and I want to say you that I have never seen you before, but I am completely agree with all the things that you say about my country, and I am so glad that to share it with people like you. Thanks so much for the video 😊😊👌🏻

From my experience: the best is cost of life, rental prices, climate, people in general and individual liberties, the worst is when you work in small and midsize companies the jornada partida and also too many public employees
