I took invega sustena and invega Trinza for 6 years and for a major part of that time I had to do crystal meth to feel ok. I had a severe tbi 11 years ago. I take clozapine now and I have to drink lots of caffeine and use nicotine to feel ok. I quit smoking cigarettes 5 months ago, hopefully I will never smoke tobacco ever again. I could use your prayers. I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder when I was 18. I'm 33 now I was born again when I was 27. I've been walking with Jesus for over 9 years now.

Really well done, thank you very much. I know I am not the only one here who appreciates the hard work you put into your videos. Thanks again and I hope you're safe and well!
  • As an MSW student, I found this really helpful. It's great to have a tool like this while taking a psychodiagnostic class online, which can have gaps in learning. Thanks

Thank you so much for this lecture. Iā€™ve been long looking for a truly in depth, not too dry informative video. Everything the doctor mentions here is very accurate and detailed, with a lot of compassion and attention towards what the symptoms truly entails. Often information only describes the symptoms very superficial, such as mania but not describing the ā€˜logicā€™ and emotions that goes with it. Much appreciated.
  • Very insightful. Many people throw around ā€œbipolarā€ without really knowing the true meaning. Many of these disorders have overlap so one must be careful when diagnosing. Thank you for a great video.
  • Iā€™m so glad you do these videos. Iā€™ve been diagnosed bipolar depression, mood disorder, cPTSD

Thank you for this. šŸ™šŸ½ extremely informative and Iā€™ll probably watch it again. Iā€™ve experienced depression/anxiety for years and most recently found out some of this may be bipolar now. Also, thank you for mentioning PMDD bc itā€™s important and it also was a thing for me. I came down to the same conclusion that it affects my mood fluctuations especially around the times of my cycle. So itā€™s a variety of symptoms but Iā€™m narrowing down now and getting to the bottom of it! šŸŽ‰

I would like to say thank you for all of the content and information that you share on your channel. Only if people in this profession would take it as serious as you do, the information that you have on your channel is amazing and so helpful. I would like to thank you again.

I was finally diagnosed with bipolar at 42 although I was 15 when I had my first mania. No one looked beyond it to see if their was a cooccurring disorder along with it. I certainly had many signs of CPTSD by that point. No one ever looked past blaming everything on my having bipolar until I went in to therapy 16 years later and realized what had been done to me all those years was abuse and at that time it was still going on. I really got a lot better but after 4 years of therapy the state said I'd been in therapy too long and I surely must be "fixed". Last fall I tried a new one but just didn't click with her. All I do is try to do the work on my own. I have got to move from here nearer a city. Their's nothing in Northern Michigan but sub zero temps and snow.

Thank you Dr. Snipes for giving me a sense of class while I'm doing an online degree in mental health counseling.
  • Thank you so very much, this was the most informative video I have seen on Bi Polar. It has helped me immensely.
  • This is so helpful & informative. I suffered with hormonal fluctuations when younger. I felt like I had bi- polar. Although didn't, I also had chilhood trauma & depression !
