Oddly wholesome how instead of getting offended and pissy about it, Demo actually explains to Scout why he is black to the best of his knowledge.

demo man doesn’t get angry or defensive when asked a basic question about his skin demo man has done research as to his own origins and reasons for those origins demo man is glad to answer questions asked by his friend who wish to learn be like the demo man!

This whole thing is wholesome. Scout is just genuinely curious and interested, demo was completely friendly and happy to explain, and medic was just concerned for scout’s safety and demo’s feelings.

To be fair, scout wasn't being racist, it's a genuine question of his. Racist would imply there was malicious intent in what they said or they intended to insult them cus of their race, scout was just being curious

Today we all learned something. And it's how to properly explain to children these things rather than telling them "Hey, don't ask that, that's racist".
