  • This is a perfect example of the state of gaming today. They announce something that everyone is super hyped about and inevitably release a turd

At this point, the gaming industry isn't even taking steps backwards.. They're running a full marathon in reverse.
  • There are 2 more things: 1. There is no animation when the glass in a car breaks. The original version had one. 2. A car gets wider and wider when you swerve from left to right.
  • CJ: "Smoke, why aren't you moving?! We got Russians on our ass!" Big Smoke: "I cant CJ, I'm softlocked to this bike!"

It's mind-boggling why they gave the remastering duties to a mobile games developer.

some steps back for Rockstar. The easy money grab is too obvious.

9:14 It's not a bug, NPC sometimes will keep chasing you if you bumped into them, it happens in original version too.

They managed to make 3 games almost 20s old feel modern for sure. Rushed and full of glitches that need to be patched. Sounds like modern video game release to me good job rockstar! đź‘Ť

I remember Rockstar Games laughing at CD Red last year, and promising how their games only launch when they are READY.

These games deserved a full remake, it has been possible to make it look like this or even better with mods for years now

Never in my life would I ever have imagined that the Switch port of a game was the least buggy of them all.

A couple of things I haven't seen people mention much, if at all: 1) Vibration on the controller seems to be hit or miss. Some impacts register, some don't. And, for example, I remember on the PS2 if you rode over the train tracks on a bike in San Andreas, you get a lot of vibration. On the Definitive Edition, you feel nothing. It's just weird to me. 2) I remember in Vince City you had honking car alarms. In the Definitive Edition, this doesn't seem to be a thing. I haven't had one car alarm go off yet. Again, this is a small thing, but it's still a missing game mechanic.

They didn’t give a shit about this trilogy and honestly my heart is broken.

More of a reason to wait for a sale. It's crazy that they are selling a lesser quality product for full price.
  • I think there should be an option to turn off highlighting outline around the enemy target, which breaks immersion for me or atleast an option to turn off

It’s a shame we can’t get a single polished game anymore, pray elden ring is as good as it looks

CJs neck makes him look like he is constantly doing a quagmire impersonation
  • @beaudene2021
I'm sure everyone that's working on this project won't be adding this to their resume/cv.
  • @nickllama5296
Here's the easiest fix: give us the old versions back.

“Are people really paying $60 for incomplete games that developers plan to fix 6 months later?” YES.
