One of the best stories I ever heard was on UNIT 522's channel, that almost was a missing persons. The OP was a small time criminal who came across an abandoned van and decided to steal it to sell to a friend of his at a remote rendezvous point: after calling his friend he drove out into the dessert, stopped the van then started smashing the lock at the back when he heard wailing and crying coming from inside: opening the door he was shocked to discover a group of children, about five of them, all bound and gagged hands and feet. He tried to calm them down in Spanish and English, drove back into town, stopped at a gas station, called 911 from a pay 'phone and left the scene. He saw on the news afterwards that they were all reunited with their parents. The experience changed him, he turned his back on crime, settled down and now has a house and family. He felt that the experience of helping them had helped him somehow. Just thought I'd share that story.

Can we take a minute to appreciate these consistently cool intros and backgrounds? As always love the vid. Thanks Fam.

The guy running door to door freaking out in AZ, clearly losing touch with reality due to hyperthermia, heat exhaustion, and dehydration. You lose touch with reality when you’re extremely stressed and dehydrated very easily and I wouldn’t doubt that he succumbed to the heat after running for his life from hallucinations
  • I love the fireplace animation. Its a cozy but slightly eerie scene )
