Why is the ships insurance company let off the hook even before the investigation is concluded? They have accident insurance for these exact type of incidents. Why is no one asking or reporting on this?

"Bawl Tee More"??? I was told by locals that it is pronounced: Ball-Muhr

A thorough investigation should now be the end goal to make sure there was no foul play involved at all in this accident.
  • What caused the Dali to crash into the bridge ? Haven't they heard or read the news paper or watched the 6 o-clock news ? Sounds like they're not moving along as much as I thought !!

Question, how long did it take the ship to get word out that they lost power (cell phones) how long did the people controlling the bridge take to close traffic, how no one was able to reach the men on the bridge to evacuate, no superior to call and say hey move the men, how long did it take from loss of power to impact, they need to install emergency lights and warning sounds in the rebuilding

Normalization of deviance, the process in which deviance from correct or proper behavior or rule becomes culturally normalized. Process where a clearly unsafe practice becomes considered normal if it does not immediately cause a catastrophe: with early warning signs that were either misinterpreted, ignored or missed completely
