Jeff is awesome! Helped me with all my questions this past offseason. Got rid of my StopTech ST60/ST40 setup on my E46 M3 and replaced them with the Essex AP kit. I mostly track the car these days and these kick the CRAP out of the StopTechs. Beyond the performance, the running costs are significantly lower. I genuinely could not be any happier with my investment in these brakes. Thanks to Jeff and to Essex!
  • Can these calipers fit other disks, in particular cc disks? Is it just a size matter or is there anything else? These disks look like a perfect fit for all the cc heat.

Would these brakes work with daily driving too. I know most people don't buy stuff like this for daily driving, but see I only have 1 car and i'd like to track it at a drag strip and still go to work everyday. I mean how often am i maintaining these brakes?

Great, video. Really interesting. On one of the BMW forums someone had done some research in to Essex and Stillen and came to the conclusion that the Pro 5000 is more track focused and not so good if you are using this set up for say 85% daily and 15% track where as the Radi-CAL are better for a mix of the two. What are your thoughts on this and what are the downsides of using the Pro 5000 kit for mostly daily driving? Cheers
  • question please help! I bought my car with these brakes already installed (2016 bow m4 with AP Racing pro 5000 R) and in my state the car needs to pass inspection to be able to get tags and tittle. it failed inspection because of the brake because they could find what was the discard thickness on the rotors. I went of their website and it doesn't say anywhere. do you happen to know this info? the "discard thickness" is the thickness at which the rotor should be replaced. if you can help I would really appreciate it!

These look great, but why can't you buy them with red lettering over the yellow?

Can I purchase the brackets for GTI Mk6 only?

What is the difference between this, the pro 5000r, and the radical 2?
