I bought an R-tech TIG welder following your advice John. Great bit of kit and got a good price on it too. Many thanks for that.Just had the 4 hour introductory lesson too. what a fantastic facility Bob has at The Machine Shop! Learned a lot from Bob who was a patient helpful teacher. Now to do some practicing at home.

Having ‘not very well’ mig welded for years I bought an R Tech ac/dc tig a bit did a four hour course at The Machine Shop . I really recommend it , it didn’t turn me into a coded welder but taught me to attach two bits of aluminium together and looked ‘acceptable’ at the end .
