Obviously he's nowhere near ready right now, but if he really wants to prove his worth for an Inoue fight, I think the most obvious route is to go for Luis Nery and Stephen Fulton, who are both supposed to make their 126lbs debut sometime soon. Fight both those guys, and beat them worse than Inoue did. Then he'll absolutely be in championship contention.
