Did being top 10 in an aimtrainer help me in FPS games?

If you've been in aimtraining communities for a while, I'm sure you've heard something about there being a limit to its effectiveness. That at a high enough level, your improvement in scores in aimtrainers won't be reflected in game. This is something I used to believe myself, but I wanted to truly put the idea to the test, if I got into the top 10 worldwide in an aimtrainer, would I get better in fps games?

This is by far the most amount of time and effort I've ever put into a single video, even disregarding how long it took to actually get the scores this took ages to edit and script, I hope you all enjoy ❤️

The gameshow style fps I was playing at a few points throughout this vid is called the finals, its free on steam and the most fun I've had in an FPS in years, I highly recommend it ^^
The benchmarks I use are the season 3 voltaic kovaaks benchmarks, I chose them since I think they translate better to in game performance than the newer season 4 benchmarks or the aimlab benchmarks. If you'd like them yourself, go into the link below, click on file, make a copy and add your scores!

THE highest quality aim improvement based videos I've ever watched. Good job viscose. Loved the edit you did towards the end with the 5 different virtical clips.
  • @snakwastaken
only after 3 rewatches I noticed you edited all the aimtraining scenarios to match with in game scenarios, Well Done !

I found that my aim improved the best when I started incorporating the other aim categories, instead of only focusing on what "made sense for the game I played". Here's an Iroh quote for absolutely no reason: "It is important to draw wisdom from many different places. If we take it from only one place, it becomes rigid and stale" - General Iroh.

Loved the smooth transitions and editing of this. Been waiting after seeing updates on twitter and it was well worth the wait ❤ I'm almost Gold Complete in S4 Voltaic and I have around 220 hours in Kovaaks and the consistency in game is what I have come to understand will improve when Aim training. It gives you the tools needed to maintain your aim , improve it and keep it consistent from match to match in game.

I don't usually watch random people's video like this, but I found yours very interesting and well made. The editing, the clips behind, the examples made all of this great and very interesting! I personally loved it and found some interesting points on what you said to summarize all of it.
