Love these videos. Using them in my advisory class. Keep them coming!
  • When I was in the middle school, I went to like a tutor school to study english, with an old english man. He was a nice guy, and that was when he introduced me this game. I'm 21, well almost 22 now, and I'm now working as an intern at the school. I played this game with my students like an hour ago. Nowadays, that teacher who told me about this game had already gone. And whenever I play this game with my students, it always remind me of him. RIP Peter.

What happens when you challenge and the other player was actually working on a legitimate word? Is the one challenging out? or do they just keep playing? Because can't the person challenging use the next letter in that word for their turn? thus having an "edge".

Yeah, I play with different age groups... ...Beginner - 4 letters: so words like cowboy are playable. Intermediate - 3 letters: this is like normal play, so cowboy is not playable. Master - 2 letters: good luck, there are lots of two letter words. (of course, abbreviations do not count at any level) Here's the huge difference in how we play... ...we keep score (yes, without writing) like the basketball game horse. One letter at a time. So, when you spell GHOST you're out.

What is the mechanics of this game? I don't understand why "Y" was out.
