I managed to remove age spots at home with IPL, dermaplaning, Vitamin C & Alpha Arbutin, Retinol, SPF 50. I hit them hard from all angles. It has taken 6 months but I did it ❤

I started using vitamin c daily on my face, just because it feels good. I noticed after about a year or so all my hyperpigmentation was gone :)

Excellent video! I'm a veteran teacher and you seamlessly broke down all the info for everyone to understand. Love your genuine demeanor. I'm a fan!

It's not just the sun. I believe, it's health... Food, gut health, etc...

I use kojic acid bar soap for washing my face, and apply moisturizer with 5% niacinamide & vit C in it after. Wear lots of sunscreen everyday. It works amazingly. Wear clay mask or retinol before bed once-twice a week, less acne. And avoid sugar as much as I can.

I had a pico laser treatment in Thailand and it's the only thing that has worked for me. It didn't get rid of the sun spots, but it lightened them enough that they are easier to hide with make up. Will get a couple more treatments when I'm back there in a few months. It costs five times as much in Canada!

  • I went to my dermatologist and gave me ViDerm and it’s done amazing! 🤩 now I’m on vitamin C, retinol, Korean Snail serum, bukochoi as you suggested.

Thank you for sharing your expertise with us. I had hyperpigmentation show up really suddenly after starting a new antidepressant. I tried just about everything that I could find over the counter and the results were pretty limited. I was pleasantly surprised when I was finally able to get botox for chronic migraine and within a week the hyperpigmentation was basically gone (or at least like 90% gone). Definitely doesn't qualify as holistic, but I'm really happy with the resulting decrease in headaches and dark spots.

the best thing i ever did was starting to use sunscreen every single day + actually taking precautions from the sun with UV blocking long sleeved clothes or just staying out of the sun in peak hours. those + alpha arbutin (in a niacin toner by good molecules) + tranexemic acid (discoloration serum by good mol.) are preventing AND fixing prior hyperpigmentation. kojic acid is also fantastic but you have to be consistent

I was told that my zillion lentignes are secondary to my lifelong B12 deficiency. Correcting the B12 problem (after I wound up in the ER with neurological symptoms) and laser has improved it greatly.
