"Pebbles" for the new duck name. Always the companion to "Bam-Bam". Love the pond series. Thank you for sharing this adventure.
  • @Tim-Kaa
Consider installing water aerator to increase oxygen level in the water. Also, consider planting water grasses to absorb nitrogen out of fish poop, otherwise you'll kill that lake in no time. That will help with water clarity too.
  • @Jon.......
Once the pond is topped off, would be cool to see you create a "babbling brook" or artificial creek water feature to circulate and aerate the pond the pond with. Might also add a habitat for other wildlife!

Can we take a minute and just fully all recognize and appreciate how hard working Bama is? He has a family to take care of, a huge pond construction project and still gives us a video almost every week, and making sure to involve us in projects. Bama and his family are very hard working and deserve some appreciation for that, love the content! The pond looks amazing.

I always click on these videos 1,000,000x faster than anything else! Can’t wait to see some fish in the pond
  • @wavyxdre2230
Waiting on water to fill a pond has never been so interesting 😂🤝
  • We watched not one but 2 different doe over a few days jump in and swim through our pond to get away from some aggressive rutting bucks! Couldn't believe it!

This has got to be the greatest series on YouTube this year.

Dude, I’m a 51 year old outdoorsman from Ontario Canada. P.s I’ve loved all your vids from the start till now. 100 percent the deer knew and by the coyotes tails they are in hunt mode. Thank goodness for your pond because if it wasn’t there, she would not be either. Keep the vids coming and if you ever want to come fishing in northern Ontario let me know
  • 4 years ago I thought wow, these tank Tuesday videos can’t be topped. then the backyard pond happened and i thought wow, this is it, they can’t top this. and here we are with these 5 acre pond videos. the ability to create an ecosystem and watch it grow over the years is something truly special and beautiful and the fact y’all are sharing it with us is awesome. although i’m going to officially say I don’t think the 5 acre pond videos can be topped… do what you must with that information haha. keep doing what you’re doing you guys are awesome
  • @Leib33
I'm guessing this might be buried, but the love you exude for people, the animals and nature in general is very heart warming and inspiring. Please keep it up. Love, from Brooklyn, NY 🤗

Dude, you are living the life! Pond in your back yard, beautiful family, electronic toys, fried turkey strips. Enjoy watching your series.
  • @StripesofValor
Whoever thought that water rising would be so interesting. Absolutely LOVE this series and love Sunday nights when you upload. Hope to build our own pond someday and stock it with some of our rainbow trout and yellow perch.

My father owns a couple hundred acres of woods in Illinois in which there are a lot of ravines. One of the ravines are completely cut off from draining besides one larger ravine. He plans on building a road dam on the drainage ravine and have it naturally fed and filled by natural springs in the surrounding hills. Once complete, this “pond” would be acres large and at least 200 feet deep, it would be awesome when we gather the funds to complete it, perhaps selling many of the trees that occupy the lake site.
  • @BigMouth380cal
Having worked with dam spillways and valves over the years, they can get darn rusty and stiff. I would consider applying some appropriate grease to that Drain Valve Stem and perhaps some sort of cover that protects it from the weather. Could make it a lot easier to function if and when it is needed.
  • @danebailey1291
The pond is really coming along well, more wildlife is showing up
  • @PalJoey-on1yi
I strongly urge you to stock the fish in the spring when there is an active biological base to provide food, hiding spaces in the pond plants, and most importantly, waste removal and processing. Stocking a new pond in winter is a prescription for building up waste since nothing can grow and cycle.
  • You should paint that drain pipe like a steam boat stack that would look pretty cool!! Love the videos look forward to them each week!
  • @bastiP
I'd suggest adding lots of water plants to create a true ecosystem and recycle the animals wastes and uneaten food
